Beyond Disability, Discovering Abilities: The Umeed-e-Noor Story
Umeed-e-Noor (UEN) is a non-profit and non-government organization, registered under Section 6 of Islamabad Capital Territory Charities Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act, 2021. UEN was established in 1995, by a group of individuals seeking a qualitative improvement in the lives of children suffering from physical and mental challenges. The basic idea was not only to create a home for the special children but to have an awareness in society about their development and needs.
To provide an enabling environment for special needs children so that they can maximize their potential, learn skills and gain the confidence necessary to become productive members of our society.
A society where people with special needs are respected and valued for the diversity they bring, and are given access to resources and facilities that enable them to realize their social and economic potential in order to live their lives with confidence, dignity and self-esteem.

Founded by a passionate group of individuals committed to providing specialized education and rehabilitation for children with multiple disabilities.

Despite challenges posed by the global pandemic, UEN adapts swiftly, introducing online learning programs, ensuring continuity in education and therapy for our children.
