PFOWA Visit and Treadmill Donation (2 Apr 2026)

A delegation from the Pakistan Foreign Office Women Association (PFOWA), headed by its President and including Ms. Ayesha and her team, visited Umeed-e-Noor and its departments. PFOWA has maintained a close liaison with the centre for over a decade. During the visit, they donated a pediatric clinical treadmill to the physiotherapy department — equipment that was much needed for pediatric physical therapy, neurological rehabilitation, and balance work.
• The treadmill has the potential to improve gait in children with Cerebral Palsy while helping address common barriers of balance and strength.
• A wide range of children visiting the physiotherapy department with developmental delay and neuromotor issues are expected to benefit.
• The delegation also visited the ward, interacting with staff and students there.
